Conditions for using the IAPI website and member services.
Effective date: January 1, 2025. By accessing or using the Indiana Association of Professional Investigators (IAPI) website and member services, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Acceptable use
- Use the site lawfully and only for its intended professional purposes.
- Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape the member directory, or use member contact information for unsolicited marketing.
- Do not impersonate another investigator, misrepresent your licensure status, or post unlawful, defamatory, or misleading content.
Membership and accounts
Membership eligibility is governed by IAPI bylaws. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for safeguarding your account credentials. IAPI may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, the IAPI Code of Ethics, or applicable law.
Directory and member content
Member-directory information is provided to other verified members for professional networking and referrals only. Republishing the directory, in whole or in part, is prohibited. Members are responsible for the accuracy of their own listing.
Not legal or investigative advice
